Your Kid’s Summer Reading Pack is on its way to your email.

Before you go, I want to share some of my favorites with you.

Instilling a love for reading in our kids has always been a passion of ours as parents!

Family read-aloud time has been an essential part of this and I have so many fond memories of doing this with our older 3 kids. (And now I get to do it with our younger 3 all over again!)

Circles of children and parents reading.

Check out some of my favorite read-aloud books below!

His Grace Is Enough book cover.

Melissa Kruger has become one of our favorite children’s book authors! The book His Grace Is Enough is a staple around our house lately. We have read this book over and over again, and I even quote it to the kids all the time. The photos and rhyming words are highly engaging, and I LOVE the powerful message of grace.

Charlotte's Web box set preview.

E.B. White’s Classic Favorites Boxed Set are great beginning chapter books to read aloud! The pictures throughout make it very engaging and the chapters are nice and short for younger kids’ attention spans.

The Imagination Station book cover.

We have been reading the Imagination Station Books since my older teenagers were super tiny! They are some of our tried and true favorites. Our kids have listened to hours and hours of Adventures in Odyssey and these books do not disappoint!

Love Centered Parenting book cover.

Parent from a place of freedom and rest, instead of burden and stress.

Looking for more ways to build lasting relationships with your kids?

Love-Centered Parenting chronicles my journey from hitting rock bottom as a parent to finding freedom and joy in my mothering. It’s raw, it’s real, it’s honest… and it’s not your typical parenting book.

In it, I share vulnerably about mistakes I’ve made, lessons I’ve learned, and how I stopped parenting for my reputation and began parenting for relationship with my kids.

Most of all, it’s about how raising kids with love and grace has radically transformed my family and home.
